Whether you opt for a long walk through the dunes, a swim in the sea or just relax in your own vacation home, at this park you will have a wonderful time together. The quiet location near Egmond aan Zee makes it the ideal destination for anyone who likes to combine nature and the beach with comfort together with their dog.

Spend the night in a comfortable vacation home together with your dog

Our vacation park offers several vacation homes where dogs are also welcome. Some accommodations have an enclosed garden, ideal for some extra freedom of movement for your dog. In most vacation homes you can bring a maximum of two dogs. During your stay you can use the many facilities in our park: enjoy a meal in our restaurant, take a dip in the summer in the heated outdoor pool or discover the surroundings on a rented bicycle or e-chopper.

What to do in and around Egmond aan den Hoef

The area around EuroParcs De Woudhoeve is a paradise for dogs and their owners. The vast beaches of Egmond are perfect for running, playing and getting a breath of fresh air with the dog. The beautiful National Park Schoorl Dunes is also nearby, where dogs are welcome if leashed. After an active day in nature, you can discover the charm of the nearby towns. For example, visit Alkmaar with its historic center and cheese market, Bergen with its unique atmosphere of an artists' village or the unique Zaanse Schans with its windmills. Each one of these destinations is worthwhile for a pleasant day out.

Beaches of Egmond aan Zee

Dogs are welcome all year round on the beaches of Egmond! In the summer period they are allowed to run loose before 10:00 am and after 7:00 pm on the beach. In the winter, dogs are welcome on all of Egmond's beaches. So there is enough space in every season for a wonderful walk together.

Hiking in the Schoorl Dunes

Dogs are also welcome in National Park the Schoorl Dunes! Because of the breeding season, dogs must be leashed from March 1 to September 1. Outside this period dogs are allowed to run free under supervision!
